South African supercar! Excellent idea. its not entirely made in South Africa, only the chasis is. The body is made in Italy and the it has 6.2L V8 engine from a coverte. But dont be fooled these south africans are getting somewhere and as we have all seen in the recent F1 race it takes much more that an engine to make a car fast. The Z-One can go to 100km/hr in under 4 seconnds the Audi R8 can only do it in 4.4, Ferarri California in just under 4 secs and flatout is almost 299km/hr. As you can see it really a supercar that needs to be taken seriously.The aston Martin DBS v12 has a power output of 380kw (510bhp) but it can only do 0-100 in 4.1 sec. The Z-One has 330kw (442bhp) but it can do 0-100 in under 4 sec. You see the Z-One is not a sissy after all.
Zagato coach builders are legends when it come to car design, thay have designed Feraris, Alfa Romeos, Spykers, Rolls Royce and many other cars. Kudos to Perana for the Z-One.
